As those of you who went will have noticed, the Eagles' ground is far better equipped facilities wise than it was.
Decent toilets instead of smelly (stinking?) portaloos, a "proper" stand to replace the one that was little better than a tent, and food and drink sold from buildings rather than a van, but......
The floodlights were / are a massive let down!
I'm not using this as an excuse coz it was the same for both teams, but when a "bomb" went up, the ball disappeared into the night sky!
They really are poor, and I'd have thought with the dosh that's obviously be spent on the OLP, I'd have thought that decent lighting could / would /should've been a priority.
Spelly.
Been twice and I've found it to be a pretty soulless place.
Probably not helped by our performances.
