Is Naughton Park one? I remember Swindon playing Trafford Borough at Widnes but I don’t remember who was the home team.
Can I also guess Burnden Park, Bolton?

Swindon? LOL Check your spellcheck mate!

Naughton Park? That's correct-ish, but only the "new" one, We played the Bulls there about four years ago, when it was (I think) the Halton Stadium. The one against the Borough, was their home match, not ours.

Burnden is also correct, where we hosted Sheff, Saints, and Pies.

So there's still half a dozen to find. Look back at two already mentioned, and think "double" maybe?

You can get two at once with the next clue, coz we switched a match in the Cup from where we were based at the time, to a bigger venue, for a better financial return. I'm guessing about 13/14 years ago.

The yawnion one is just up the road from where the switched game was staged.

That leaves the (now) soccer ground. We played Fev there, and you're on a "winner" if you can name it!

1) Apologies Spelly for the spelling mistake. 2) Boundary Park maybe?

1) No prob mate, you're not the first to do it!

2) 'Fraid not. We've played there a time or two, but only as guests of the Roughyeds.

OK - Here goes!

Station Road, Gigg Lane, Moor Lane, Sedgley Park, Pinks (both grounds) Leigh (both grounds) Halton Stadium, JJB Stadium (we were drawn at home in the Cup, but switched it for more dosh) Burnden Park, Maine Road, Victory Park, Orrell Yawnion, and Heywood Road.

Those in dark print were one-offs,

So fifteen different venues where we've hosted games! But we're still here, we still have our pride, and the name of SWINTON (despite the recent attempt to remove it) still burns bright in the Greatest Game on the Planet!

Spelly - Swinton till I die!
