It has beem alleged Oldham have not paid player injury treatment bills & pension payments. This has led to a breakdown in relations between the Oldham chairman & Boundary Park owners leading him to being banned from the ground for 12 months!

How can that work satisfactorily going forward? Are they going to have to find a new stadium? Whatever the situation it does not sound good.

Is this going to turn into another Salford or Featherstone situation? Have they overstretched financially? One clue was given last season when their chairman was complaining fans were not paying to come & watch a winning side in enough numbers.

Some of us complain about the strength of our squad but once again this proves you cannot massively overspend on the assumption improved gate takings will meet that spending.
