And to cap it all off Wigan's Shorrocks gets a 5 match ban for an offence in the reserve fixture against Widnes!

Phil Finney was somewhat scathing about the Wigan tackling at the Members Night.

I’m shocked if this is what it appears to be on face value.

Hugely disappointing if true, which I suspect it is given police involvement/Warrington reaction.

Why?  He hasn't been formally charged with anything?  What happened to innocent until proved guilty?   Or do you know more than the club does?

If he gets charged with something, Warrington will probably let him go.  However, until that happens I don't think they've got any choice but to let him do his job.

If he wasn’t charged with anything, why did Warrington suspend him for a month?

Is this a question for me or the Police or Warrington!?  You already know he wasn't charged with anything, he was arrested on suspicion.  They suspended him pending an investigation, which from face value appears to be over (internally) thus he's back available for selection.

If Brand was as good as people thought then Gelling would not be playing.
