@johng I agree John like the commentator said these players have come through our academy and been here years .... but we haven't been any good for years either so keeping the same players baffles me

Getting in the playoffs last year was a success but that should be the minimum expectation.

i thought it was a good competitive game but never felt like we had a chance to be honest. Daft pens no real threat in attack, no spark 

The most annoying thing is look at the table Halifax and barrow they can't be spending much more than us we just don't get signings or dual reg right year on year

Exactly and one of the biggest supported clubs in the Championship. We need more investment from somewhere the club need to see local businesses as this not good enough. Plus do not understand how these teams do better with the dual registration system and loans. Something does not sit right for me. 

I agree the loans and dual reg aren’t very good and we should ditch warrington next season and try someone else, Wigan perhaps. 
But Halifax didn’t have any loan or dual reg players today and still won easily. Bu they’ve got a smaller squad than Widnes, so if they get a few injuries, they could start to struggle.

Yeah i listened to the Podcast, and Flash mentioned in the media questions from the press that Sam Burgess moaning about Leyland playing fullback.😂  How ridiculous when he decided to play Danny Walker at halfback due to injuries.Pressure definitely getting to him and to take all 5 away is so childish. We know Thomas was injured in the game,  but we do need to get a better dual and loan arrangement. Personally we need a slightly bigger squad to be honest of our own players. Why does it work well with other clubs like Halifax?

 

Because they are dual reg with........ Warrington.

Rumours are that Leyland will be loaned to Salford.
