@dan1

That's my point! Hopefully with AC being a mate of Degsy he will be in the know.

Whilst Saints and Wigan's losses are public knowledge we don't know just where other smaller clubs stand, but it won't be good news I guess!

Get WVIP's going properly and we could be a 'wealthy' club compared to some!

I seem to remember that the Rugby league were stringently able to check each teams finances on a regular basis? If that’s the case, what has happened to some SL clubs finances why the huge amount of debt don’t forget that’s after receiving skys money pot.

Clubs can only work within their own targeted budget anything else is a slippery slope “remember“ what happened to us.
so as for any sympathy for clubs with begging bowls out it’s not for me.🖤🏁🏴‍☠️

I hope that WVIPs isn't excluded!?

The idea of the RFL auditing SL books was a vague promise obviously not acted upon, but they'll still hand money to those overspent clubs again simply because their sugar daddies will bale them out!!!!

The SL clubs are determined to keep their overstaffing no matter what.But this is where we started the Sky years - big clubs over blown and overspending needing a bag of gold. And even Wigan and Saints are overdrawn now

I was looking at the Wigan website a few months back and they had listed on there a plethora of coaches,assistant coaches,head of performance,nutritionist,analyst etc.Im not surprised they made a loss.The sport of RL fancies itself too much.It isn't Football.Wigan aren't Manchester Utd,Saints aren't Real Madrid.

The trouble is that we all hopped onto the Sky roundabout and roundabouts are easy to get on but hard to get off!!!!

A lot of 'support staff' are coining it and the clubs are frightened of cutting down.

It maybe out of date but I'm sure that it was reported on here that Jon Clarke left us and went back to Wire as a Fitness Coach on £70k then to England RU on £210k!!!!!!!

That might be bull dust but it makes you think.

@kessie the salary cap is audited monthly, the salary cap is nothing to do with profit/ loss of the club.

@jon I like Saturdays because we can make it more of a day and night out, with Sunday to recover 😂
