He didn’t look any less fit than he’s looked for the whole season to be honest. In Tilleke’s defence, he should probably be the 7th/8th choice prop; he’s played in every single match.
Not counting the 5 min Batley spell .
Tilleke had never played a 1st team game before this season. He should have been one to be picking up maybe 8-10 games for more experience.
The same goes with Wilde who has played a lot too.
If we are spending X amount which is the maximum the RFL are letting us atm, then it comes down to whether we have got value for money and whether we can get better value for money with signigns next season.
I don’t see how anyone can point a finger at the coach when we have no props. You could have the best coach in the world but with no props on field or to interchange your players will be exhausted by half-time!

Well, that same one played probably 20 minutes in the first half on Sunday, looked knackered, and then didn’t come back on after half time.
Unless he was injured there should be no reason why he didn’t come out for a spell in the 2nd half. If he played the 1st 20, was taken off and then played the final 20, including half time that’s an hours rest.
