It has taken a few days to register and eventually I had to change my username slightly and re-register, but I put it down to the prehistoric software on my samsung tablet and I could probably have signed in on the wife's laptop.
Anyway, to all concerned, I congratulate you on the site, it is excellent and having all the content together is , in my opinion , a great idea.

Problems I mentioned in my post above appear to be limited to when I'm not logged in.
When logged in all appears to be fine.

This issue should be resolved now - it was previously caching the posts.
I'm now back in thanks to Flash helping me with a password problem and Ralph Wiggum telling me about the new site in the first place!
