Firstly it’s a big loss as he’s been excellent since being back

However, it was clearly stated in the job description the amount and vast levels of work expected so that’s on him. If he doesn’t want to work for the set wage like we all have to do then that’s his choice.

I imagine he would of stayed off for a lot longer had he been getting paid for it, again a majority of jobs only pay stat sick pay so why shouldn’t a part time club? This, again, would have been in his contract or employment like any organisation

I think the special measures thing has just been thrown in there without any real fire to support it.

We might as well have left Chris Hamilton in the Office.

Been in touch with someone at the club, who says it’s 100% NOT true, we’re in special measures

Obviously not ...but I swear sometimes whoever within the club thinks "hmmmm how can we turn it all into a circus " ...we are literally incapable of having even a semi smooth season ....

@cumbria-viking it's tiring and not much fun every time we think were making progress we find a way to drag ourselves back

we have as many worrying headlines as good coming out the club that can't help investors

@vikingfox71 we do have the uncanny knack of going kamikaze ...shame that this came out today and has taken away the gloss of yesterday's win .....some very strange tactics at board level .....announce edge signs new deal ..day after announce Abdul permanently left (don't care but still) ....play brilliantly yesterday...fan base buzzing ...announce Holmes today ....it's like we need to slap the positivity out of the fan base .....from now on I'm just going to assume any shred of positive news the club announces will be a softener for a brick through the window the day after ....but hey we're use to it

@pauliewalnuts if their is and they can't all pull in the same direction the club will never ever progress ....got a very tight playing squad and the board give the impression they're all strangers there for different reasons...

@pauliewalnuts I can't see what agenda there could be .......except our chairman been not liking the attention Tim and twinny were getting from the fan base ? 2 positive members leave in a couple of months is not a great sign

The saddest thing on the back of all this is ,for a good while we've got the transparency we've all craved through Tim doing the interviews....make no mistake him leaving will sling all that out the door ...not a cat in hells chance anyone steps up to give the fans the info they crave ...and that's the tragic thing ....if your serious and sincere in trying to grow crowds.. grow the club .. you have to have that engagement..build that trust .but seems somewhere some think we should all just rock up ..spend and keep your nose out ...your a cash cow and nothing else ..... sickening in reflection seeing 50k a couple of days ago from WVIPS go into the club with a stark reality it truly isn't that appreciated.....and tbh I have my reservations that money goes to where it's intended ...
