But there has to be things when negotiations are taking place that cannot be disclosed without upsetting the applecart.

Basically if you don't trust the Board to do their best then that's that - whatever they said you wouldn't believe it!!!

As it stands they are trying to attract kids into the supporting habit and, thanks to the parents who buy the tickets, it seems to be working.

@sandgroper I personally don't see more kids attending games SG, it looks to me an ageing fan base unfortunately. Football is king and I just don't see how we change that.

So many people in Widnes are first/ second generation scousers and their kids probably don't even know there is a rugby team.

@widnes77

All subjective I suppose - I sit in the North Stand and there are certainly more youngsters around the place. Possibly just when there are cheap offers, but that at least is an effort!

We’ve all said it a million times before, all amateur youth rugby players from widnes/runcorn should have a free season ticket accompanied by a paying adult.

I don't buy it.Fans aren't too bothered about a lack of communication from the club if the team is winning regularly.It's only an issue when we finish in the lower half of the table.

When was the last time we finished in the top half of a table?

I'm guessing 2011.
