He's big and has played for Widnes so he's OK for Oldham!!!!! Never stays long anywhere (is that a clue).

Get what you're saying, but Kyle Amor had played 31 games in Super League the two seasons before he joined Widnes. Matt Cook had played 23. Paul Clough had played 22. Dudson (and others) as full-time players are different propositions to the same as part-time players.

On paper he seems a perfect signing but Kyle Amor was not great, A player going from full time to part time makes a big difference in fitness and more game time on tactics due to only playing rugby. Matty Smith is probably one of the better players we had from Super-league, and Dudson is 35 in February. So possibly after a nice pay off attitude, but it is all a gamble and could go either way.
Anyway who knows what money he wants to play is a factor too. We need more WVIPS members or someone like yourself to put loads of money in for Dudson? 🤣
Why would we sign a player that (1) hardly ever plays, and (2) isn't that good when he does play? Oldham are welcome to him.

Blimey! Talk about prodding the bear! As this is a discussion message board I asked the question would he have done a job for us… thankfully all you propping experts have given us your valuable opinions.
