Why will the financial constraints be less next season? The limit has been set by the RFL based on the forecasted income the club have given them, it can go up if we surpass the forecasts and income is more than expected.

Only reason this would change if some money bags join the board.

Last season I said you couldn’t tell that we were a full time side and I didn’t see the benefit. Today London were bigger, faster and stronger. It looked like what it was, full time vs part time. Bookies had us 6th at the start of the season and are never far wrong. We are in a mini league with Featherstone, York and Halifax for 4th and 5th spot. For me Featherstone will get 4th. I would be happy with 5th and then make a few signings and have a tilt at the play offs or build for next season from a stronger position with less financial constraints.

I think the issue last season was the assumption that the kids were good enough. Losing Gelling for large parts, Tangata, Hood and Inu obviously killed any chances of us competing.

This is only the 2nd time I've seen the new squad in action, both games in very difficult conditions, so think the jury is still very much out at the moment imo. Certainly a lot of work for Sheens to do, but as his time at Hull KR shown, he is no miracle worker.

We never once moved up in defence meaning everytime we go into contact we ar dragged 10m back, they constantly made 60-70m with ball in hand. Effort and enthusiasm springs to mind.

Could see from a very early stage in the match our forwards were physically overmatched and getting the worst of it. I think we made a few poor decisions including taking the two the first time we got some decent field position and giving away an interectpion try really didn't help but a bigger issue was our goal line defence.

London are probably a top three side but I will be surprised if they are "head and shoulders" above the rest. Early indications are that Leigh are strong and I still think Toulouse are the team to beat. We really could do with a couple of forwards and a good centre to boost our ranks. I think it will be tough to make the top five without strengthening though it's by no means a lost cause.

Completion rate was very poor on them statistics. Heard fans singing to Patton a Wire wanker and constantly having ago at the forward from Wire. Disgraceful and embarrassing some of our fans. Hardly motivates them to play for us.

The signing was embarrassing and abuse isn't acceptable.

But, I don't pay my money to watch Wire players get fit on our watch. Rather get beat 100 zip every week than help Warrington.

I think the bookies are never far off and being realistic I think 5th, 6th or 7th for me. London are a better side than us and as I said before we need a few quality forwards and probably another centre. Anyway let's get behind the team whoever is on the pitch. If a dual or a reserve player it should not matter, as the coach decides what is the best team available. Stop the embarrassing Wire chants as Ellis Robson played well for us last year.

I would rather watch the best team available and Tim Sheen's makes that decision. I would not pay to watch our Academy or reserves.

London were by far the better team, the scoreline  probably flattered them with 2 interception tries

we let in 3 soft scores from short range

The wire guys did not add anything in my view, Latu showed a couple off offloads but lies too shallow, a fella like that running from deep will do damage

thought Owens was our best and stuck at it, dummy half many times, assume after smith went off (injurybit looked like)
