Grady having a bad game. Treating the ball like a hot potato and seemingly not wanting to drive the ball in. In the last few mins he got Spedding murdered, few mins later does it again and we lose it for London to score.

We need 3 big forwards on dual or loan. Lost it in the forwards today I heard from Capey and the boys. Well I will watch on Widnes TV to pass judgement. lol

Completion rate was very poor on them statistics. Heard fans singing to Patton a Wire wanker and constantly having ago at the forward from Wire. Disgraceful and embarrassing some of our fans. Hardly motivates them to play for us.

Woefully poor today, didn’t look like we were interested to be honest. Outplayed and out enthused all over the pitch.

Whole first half was 98% played in our half. Taking 2 pts first foray into their half was a shocking decision IMO. We had not looked like making ground up until that point yet choose not to test them and instead take 2pts.

We gifted them 3 of their first half tried the others poor defence on our own line. Another intercept 2nd half tells it’s own tale.

Simply not good enough in too many positions. Think 5/6/7th on the ladder for us unless we sign some big players.

London were bigger, faster, fitter and stronger than us today. The game was over after half an hour.

Latu clearly isn't fit (à la John Kite etc) and Dec Patton had no discernible impact on the game that I could see.

As we all know we're on a limited budget this year but unless we get some decent props from somewhere we'll comfortably be a bottom third side come September if this is anything to go by.

I think we can all accept it when you're beaten by the better side, but to not compete was very disappointing.

I don't think it was just in the forwards we were beaten, we looked clueless in attack as well. Smith made some very strange decisions. Trying an up an under against the wind in the 1st half that ended up 10-20 yards backwards. In our own half 2nd half and he tries a little placed kick that nearly went out on the full, but went straight into hands of the winger. The little chip right at the end that led to a London try.

No excuse for why London looked like they were there to play and Widnes lads looked like they didnt want to be there. Pelissier and Dixon were electric compared to our lads.

If London are head and shoulders above the rest, then maybe we shouldn't be too harsh on the lads, but on that performance, looks like we could be in for some difficult afternoons this season

Last season I said you couldn't tell that we were a full time side and I didn't see the benefit.  Today London were  bigger, faster and stronger. It looked like what it was, full time vs part time.

Bookies had us 6th at the start of the season and are never far wrong.  We are in a mini league with Featherstone, York and Halifax for 4th and 5th spot. For me Featherstone will get 4th. I would be happy with 5th and then make a few signings and have a tilt at the play offs or build for next season from a stronger position with less financial constraints.

Think people are harsh on Latu, weren’t as bad as some people made out

Patton wasn’t great got ran over twice in 1st half which lead to 10 points but to sing songs about wire just doesn’t make sense to me

their centres where even bigger than our pack, other than latu, and their strength in the tackle showed today

Craven was a miss today he had those combinations in place that Patton just wouldn’t have the time to develop on dual reg

I think we aren’t in that top 4 band but we’re above the bottom 8 fighting between 5/6/7th to try and get in the playoffs on the budget and squad we have.
