Just one thing  baffles me about all this Bradford getting shoe horned in conspiracy. If SL and the RFL are so keen on having them as the 12th club then why is relegation still in place ? Not worth the mither just for one season.

It will be very interesting to see if in 12 months, with hindsight, whether the successful club (whoever that might be) would have applied.

I daresay it might well be "easier" to win Championship in 2021, than avoid relegation from Super League in the same year.

do not forget we are talking SL/RFL here, who have history of changing the playing field when it suits

bradfraud are gaining momentum, backed by the RFL by the look of things

end of next season , sorry 4 weeks before that, they say the chosen team did not have a realistic chance to prepare a SL team, therefore no relegation

beaumont taken into safe custody for his health at this point

meantime Widnes are steadily improving and are favourites to win next season breakaway northern union competition

Fair play to Leigh and Beaumont. They’ve built a real decent squad and arguably better than HKR’s an Wakeys. They certainly won’t be the dead certs to go down if they got promoted.

If Leigh don’t get the nod (and in true RFL/SL  fashion I don’t expect them too) I will feel for Beaumont a little.

Yes he had the financial issue the other year where he just pulled his money out which was unacceptable but the fans backed the club and in turn he’s put it back in.

If they don’t get it but their team gel next season under Duffy I can see them winning the league pretty comfortably and promotion (if it’s the case) for 2022

Don't get the obsession with SL anymore.Have'nt Leigh had two goes at it like ourselves and were just as rubbish as we were ? If it comes it comes, if it does'nt then so be it.That's my outlook now.

I guess for Beaumont he just wants to be looked at like a star man in SL and to eat at the top table with McManus, Lenegan et al.  that’s his obsession

Coming to the same view tbh. Just want to watch the team play good rugby and win more that they lose!

I guess the club and fans have ambition  to reach SL and play the best teams. Probably fans would prefer to see a winning team playing decent rugby at the top end of the Championship, rather than the rubbish we have had served up when playing in the SL with a team regularly being beaten without a fight.

The club are probably right in being cautious, with  view to giving priority to building a team capable of competing at the top end of the Championship and getting its finances in order before making a bid for SL with greater confidence of actually competing in that league.

I suppose we might have made a better fist of it if the club had'nt employed so many hangers on receiving a fair wedge.Money that could have gone towards on the pitch personnel.

Totally agree, when you see some of the other clubs competing, albeit mainly at the lower end of SL, you can't help but feel it wouldn't have took a Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos to turn us into a half decent outfit - both off and on the pitch.

Completely shafted the club over a numbers years after such a promising start. It wasn't that long ago when we won was it 5 out of 6 and people were calling us the new Leicester City. Unfortunately that was the beginning of the end, although it was a long and painful death by the end.

Obviously its far easier to grow from inside SL than outside and thats what makes it all the more frustrating, we were there and blew it down to the behaviour of a few 'custodians'. I'd like to see us return at some point. I certainly don't think were ready just yet, but what I think we all need to see from the club is that they are putting the past behind them + moving on for the better. We simply can't continue be an old sick animal that everyone feels sorry for.
