Is the £5 off a ticket only if you buy your ticket online or is it the same price if you go to the shop and buy it?
Think it’s online only for non season ticket holders and if your a ST holder you can get it in the shop up until Friday maybe
dont quote me on that have a look at the article posted by the club
As usual it's more complicated than it needs to be, different prices depending on how and when you buy.
Been phoning the shop all day to buy them over phone then get a friend to collect as I don't live in widnes but no one is answering any of the options they give me,does anyone know if it is open on a wednesday.
Yes it is. I went down earlier. Apparently it’s £15 at the shop or online for stronghold members . Or if you went to last weeks match and got the team sheet leaflet and scan the code in the bottom corner.
Am I right in thinking that if I buy a ticket online I get a QR code sent to my phone to get in?

Unless you want an extra 20 minutes stood queuing in torrential rain I'd advise you to use the cash turnstiles. You know it still won't be sorted😅
So it's £20 on the day, £15 if you buy online. £15 for season tickets holders if you buy in advance at the club shop but only up until Friday. Then it's £20 and also it's £20 if you buy from the club shop for non season ticket holders.
No point non season ticket holders buying from the club shop. Either pay online to get £5 off or pay £20 cash on the day and walk straight in.
Only thing I would have changed is Saturday for season ticket holders at the club shop as many people are working and not everyone likes to buy things online.
Why not just have one price no matter when or where you buy it
Not all season ticket holders holders live in the town, it would cost as much to drive to the shop for some as they would save, just don't understand the mentality of this kind of pricing
Well said Another Poster, I’ve always struggled to understand why the ticket price varies depending on when it’s bought. It doesn’t when I buy cinema or theatre tickets.
The only exception to this would be early bird season tickets which bring in income during the close season.
This is a major own goal by the club IMO. It's a game we are expecting to win handsomely, it's ridiculous to have staggered prices.
Just make the bloody thing £15, stop arsing folk about and get bums on seats.
Jeez, Louise!

I live out of town. I just went on line got my ticket & printed it off. I do not see the problem for home games.
I am not sure how I would go on for away games. I usually have to pay on the gate of the away team on the day, as cannot trust the post & ticket getting to me..
Geoff buy the ticket through club and pick up at away game ticket office. Has always worked for me.
Getting etickets from the website has been relatively easy, even for me.
Queueing at the ground, in the rain, is another thing!
I'm sure it'll all be ok...😁

Does this work if you purchase away ticket on line though? Is there an away match option button eg print or collect at ground?
