Hear Hear, some very strange decisions taken at that time, and if I remember rightly we hung him out to dry not making a decision one way or another until very close to the end of the season.

Not really, he was and still is championship standard.He was'nt picked up by another SL club between then and now.
Good enough for this level and can kick goals. Like to see a mix of old heads and a few youngsters if good enough. Roby, Edge, Farnworth and we supposedly got a decent hooker to give Tomkins a rest.

The club have already said they are announcing someone tomorrow, but haven't said if its a new signing or a re-signing. I think we need an experienced centre, a 2nd rower and 2 props.

Agreed but we do need experience in the back line which is lacking at the moment. I was also surprised to see Tyrer is only 31
We're not going to go through a season without injuries and some competition is good for the lads and the team. Can't see that we will have too many waiting in the wings either.
