Sometimes things just don’t go your way.

today is one of them, move on and hope for better next game. Don’t over criticise don’t under estimate how bad some of our own mistakes were just focus on the next one

A Sheffield interception on their line - clear run to our line - 40-12 - converted so 42-12.

This was typical of what we had to endure from this clown of a ref

A disappointing result but I am not too concerned yet. Last year we won the first 4 against what turned out to be the bottom four sides. It is still very early days but we have played in the current standings the 3rd, 4th, 5th (we are 6th) 7th & 8th teams & won 3/5. As long as we win most of our home games a few aways against top 8 & beat the bottom 5 home & away  we should be ok.

What we cannot afford is to slip up against poor opposition. We badly need Farnworth & JJ back fast though.

Halifax didn’t finish bottom four, Geoff! Agree with the rest of it though. I would be looking to win at least 11 out of 13 at home.
