Hoping for another win . Listening to JKs preview he has a healthy respect for our Yorkshire counterparts. Fingers crossed we get a decent turn out and a steely performance. Widnes by 12 for me ⚫️🏁⚪️

I really like the way JK comes across in interviews. He always gives the opposition respect (ostensibly anyway) and clearly has tons of experience.

widnes 26 - 10 Sheffield

I’m predicting a comfortable win against Sheffield - and hoping for more bums on seats to show support for our coach and players.

Will not be an easy game, Aston is very astute.
but hoping for a win in this one to cement 7th place, and an easy win over Leigh to follow !

Widnes by one score. Sheffield are a bit of a bogey for us, have their own i-pitch, and are no mugs.

Well, a deserved 2 point lead at half-time.

But we should be further ahead with a man advantage. Everyone is playing well but we’re not showing that little extra that we had in the last two home games.

Looks like the game is lost but hopefully the players will play to the end

Well that was a reality check, should have sewn it up first half, too many errors and indiscipline

Started off pretty well but 2nd half was poor. Maybe a needed reminder that fresh blood is required next year.

2 of our interchange options were only used in the final quarter. Is that tactical or because they aren't they standard JK wants?

Shame as it felt like there was more enthusiasm in the crowd (and a better crowd) compared to many matches in the last 2 years.

Sheffield played us and the referee to perfection. Slowed the game down and ground us down. Didn’t have to score any decent tries. Hard to get any momentum into the game as it was so stop start.

Not convinced Craven and Smith work together.

Next week could be fun…!

Very disappointing result - this was a game that we should have won.

As I said at halftime, the players didn’t perform as well as they have in the last two games and there were far too many basic errors.

Just to complete my review, the referee was poor, I didn’t agree with either of his 2 yellow cards and as for missing forward passes and moving off the mark … words fail me!

We looked like a tired team today. Our pack wasn't big enough to compete with their's. Played so well v Fev at home but were clear 2nd best today. Anyone know why Lewis Roberts wasn't playing? ⚪️🏁⚫️

I think it’s probably a case of the quality of the team and as stated above a case of where we are ability wise.

I don’t know how many players will leave but it’s clear that we have given this season away in the hope of next season being able to spend more.

i watched the Bradford game and ant Walker needs a good preseason to get fit
