Spot on sinbad, in football managers leave all the time yet very rarely the full details are released, Widnes as always been a town that is obessed with gossip and speculation, the facts will come out but until then why does it matter?

Sheens will be managing elsewhere soon anyway.

I think with this one though, it's the bolt from the blue that has got people. Me included to be fair.

Look at our past coaches, Betts sacked after 7 years, Cummins wins only 1 game, McCormack after a shocker v Oldham, Endacott after relegation, Kelly after some bad results. All had some build up/results based reason to the fact that they went.

The fact we were signing players and using Sheens as the USP, then he goes, is what has provoked people into asking why. Also, I think over the last two years many people have gone above and beyond in terms of donations, Viqi's, Season Tickets and redonated Season Tickets. This entitles people to ask the question.

The club and the individual are within their rights to play with a straight bat, but there is no reason why they shouldn't be asked.

It’s ‘in the public interest’ versus some members of the public wanting to know.

As has been asked, what would you do with the information once you had it ?

They'd ask further questions.

It's done, all we can do is get on with life.   It is not the end of the world.   Onwards and upwards.    Keep the faith.

Danny Orr leaving Cas to pursue other coaching opportunities.

A coincidence or an option I wonder??

Think he beat us when he was caretaker before Powell came in!

Certainly one to consider, experienced SL assistant, maybe worth a calculated risk.

Unless there are options around for him in Yorkshire.

Dead right, if there is disruption in the club then I want to know about it before I dig deep once again. The rumours already doing the rounds will do a lot more harm than the truth. I was not that impressed by Sheens appointment  and less fussed about him leaving but if there is unrest then I am bothered.

I would say that any coach leaving is always going to cause disruption no matter who the club and the coach are.

The ‘rumours doing the rounds’ will only do damage if you chose to believe the ones that are less than complimentary about the state of the club and without any real proof either way I don’t see why you would chose to suspect the worst.

Of course being a bit nervous about throwing even more good money after bad especially given the uncertainty about when the league will start and when we will be allowed in to watch makes good sense and I personally think it would be wise to keep Hold of our hard earned Until the second wave of C19 passes through and we have a vaccine that distributed To the general public.

You are dead right on this one .... .....spend as little as possible. Tiers below SL will never be able to afford to play without crowds and sensible numbers at that.................looking increasing likely that it could be the 2021-22 football season before crowds will be allowed( football will survive due to the PL supporting the tiers below albeit reluctantly)  around August/Sept 2021 maybe...pessimistic yes maybe but realistic......
