Very reasonable price I think, wonder how many will take up - 2000 ?
Reasonable price, but I can’t understand why they’re not opening the south stand, due to social distancing, surely the more stands that are open, the easier it is to socially distance fans.

I agree - the stands aren't that different. Just how many South Stand ticket holders are there?
With social distancing and South Standers being allocated seats just what will be left for the North Stand ST holders? On the wings or the West Stand by the looks of it. Neither appeal to me tbh!
I was contemplating shifting to the South anyway to avoid getting there early, but that won't win any benefits this year.
Not me I'm sorry

Presume the players and officials will be using the south stand.

I would imagine there’s a few possible reasons.
- Access to the Gold and Silver seating areas would be tight in the corridors.
- Access to the Gold and Silver seats is through one of the suites.
- Cost of opening up the stand for relatively few spaces once officials are looked after.
I don’t actually know, but I’ll bet there is good reason for not opening it initially, with the cost effectiveness playing a big factor.
I think some Premier League clubs put it out there that the financial burden would be worse when opening stadium for 4000 fans (or whatever the low numbers were) than if they just kept it closed completely to fans.
Good price and I'm not overly bothered about not being in the South Stand.
However, I go with people not in my household and tbh, I'm conflicted because that is part of the matchday experience....
Great price, hopefully only miss 3 games.
looking forward to soaking the south standers with ale when we score a try 😉

Have I misread the FAQ's? Do all ST holders have to choose their seats? That makes sense re-distancing tbh.
Yes. You have to go on the website before the game and choose a seat from the ones that are available. You can’t sit next to someone who isn’t in your family, but you could pick one 2 seats away from your mate, if you both picked them at the same time.
Sorry for jumping too soon, I read the FAQs first and that seems to be aimed at south standers.
As a north stander, for me people who usually have south stand tickets should be automatically be put into the west stand before allocated to the north stand

For what reason???
🤣🤦♂️

If throwing beer around is your thing when we score a try, I hope the Past Players Association aren't sat too close. George Nicholls, Jim and the O'Neill brothers, amongst others, might have a view on that.
Along with a couple of friends I am normally in the gold seats but not really bothered where I sit as long as we get back to watching Widnes.
My first game was with my grandad 62yrs ago at the age of 5 during that time there have been many highs and lows as we are all well aware but the worst has been not being allowed to watch Widnes.
£165 is a bargain, get buying and support OUR Widnes Vikings #WTID
