@royston-vasey - I was using the term “class” in the context of the division they are playing in. Just my opinion but O’Hagan and Edwards (latter on loan from Leeds) looked very handy players to me. I think they are top four material and losing away wasn’t surprising but I think we should have been more competitive.
Just as an aside, does it matter if we don't get in the play-offs in 2022? I don't think it does as we have no chance, or even ambition to go into SL this year. Next year league position matters for the 2x10 SL divisions. It's more important to stay up, than get in the play-offs this season, and the Board know this.

The 2x10 thing has been abandoned. The make up of who is making those decisions isn't even decided yet, yet alone what decisions they're going to make.
It’s a farce. What other sport regularly has teams not knowing the league structure (or the funding structure for that matter) for the following season whilst the current one is underway?
It's a shame because there have been some steps forward this year, C4 for example, but the same old problems re-emerge. I honestly don't see what is overly wrong with the current structure. It's more the financing.
On the wider issue of SF/Play-Offs etc, last year Haven who finished 6th had a win% of 56%. That's 15 wins out of 27 games, or from here on in 11 wins out of 20.
That's certainly not impossible with the amount of home games we have, but it is clear creativity needs to drastically improve!

Only going by what one of our owners told me after the Workington game, as he had spoke to Ralph Rimmer in the boxes, as he was in attendance.

About sums up the way is game is run. Even those running the game have no idea about what the structure will be. Guess they are waiting for McManus, Moran, Hetherington and Lenagan to make their minds up on how much money they want from the pot.
Utterly utterly depressing.. we aren't even at fudging Batleys level!! What has happened to this once great club!!
