Rochdale did lie on a lot but they were penalised a few times & for off side from which we scored tries. It did detract from the quality of the game though.
Jack, Edge, Fozard & Langtree were outstanding. The middles worked hard. Gilmore kicked well, 5 from 6 goals, mostly wide out. Mc Nally, Else & Ridyard were very good for them. I think they & Crusaders will go well in League 1 this year.
A reasonable start. An enjoyable afternoon for my first game of the season.

A workout we really needed, not a lot of expansive rugby but job done, edge mom, fozzie played well - we really slowed up when he was off and bloody freezing
