The ref for our trip to Oldham is jack smith. There are 4 new referees this year, James Vella who has relocated from Australia, Neil Horton 42 from Wakefield and two 19 year olds, from Leeds and Dewsbury Luke Bland and Liam Rush.

I just hope that "level playing fields" apply irrespective of who the referee is.

Jack Smith was the ref for the Challenge Cup game there last year, I think.

He reffed us in an awful drubbing at Huddersfield a couple of seasons back (36-0? M62 shut on way back?). Anyway he was a proper Whistling Smith that night, hope this game's not all about him.
