I’ve only seen the twins confirmed to Ottowa. Has anyone seen confirmation of where the other two are going?
I don’t think it’s the case they are not good enough, they’re well coached, perfect size and specimens, decent technical ability. But ultimately, the lack of aggression is their major floor, if they had aggression they’d be SL standard even potentially internationals.
Watched them from 16-20 at youth level, they didn’t aggression as they were just walking over their opposition props due to their sheer frames.

Both also going to Ottawa apparently.
Five signings so far made by Ottawa - four from Widnes! (Gilmore, Chapelhow x2, Fozard).
I wonder if ML will join them when he goes?
ML going?
Surely the testimonial season first?!!!
To be fair, effort has never been lacking!
Iirc he was recovering from back surgery this year. His furlough time will have helped that recovery. He isn't short on aggression and could fit into a more forceful unit.
Watching an early game last night and Farnworth's drive was markedly different to our departees, maybe with the exception of Wilde. Owen could be a much better prospect now, with some beef around him.
Think I remember sheens saying he rated farnworth which was one of the reasons he stayed this year when he had interest elsewhere
He certainly studies players, as Jewitt said when he signed. 'Looks after his players' was the comment. When some complained about fitting Lyons in as FB when Owens subbed Tomkins TS explanation was that Lyons was a bit light atm to play hooker, he would get knocked about. So he swapped Lyons and Owens , he laughed and said 'they won't get much change out of Jack!'

God knows how they work out testimonials these days - 2020 was Leuluai's 10th season at the club.
Only murmur I've heard around Leuluai is that he's going 'home' to NZ.

Craven must be due too!
