Just what we did not want in a position that is weak to start with.

Jay Chapelhow is out for 6-8 weeks. Ninja tackle, done for his ankle. Paulie xx

And the rest. At least two months out.

Same leg as last year, apparently

Need a loan from Wire or Wigan asap.

Seems like Oldham have got some injuries in the front row too, ahead of next week..

Wigan are carrying about 8 or 9 that could all be in with a shout of making there 19 maybe could get one from there! however navarette has just gone wakey on a years loan he would of been ideal for us plenty of aggression when he’s on it

Atm looks like it will be a case of 'let the ball do the work'. Great to watch, if it works, but long term we will need some power in the middle.

Maybe in SL where speed and ballplay are more the game, but in a muddy game at Batley, it just won’t work! Championship has a lot of big guys and if we are short of muscle then we will simply incur more injuries.

The news about Jay’s injury is a real blow. This could quickly become a crisis!

If you asked me walking out of Dewsbury last September where we needed to recruit ahead of this season- it would be prop.

Cant believe we’ve only signed Pat Moran (who I think will be a good player for us).

As good a coach as Sheens is nobody should be going be going into the season with 4 first team props and only 3 of them being fit.

Find it hard to believe there’s nobody available that won’t improve us.

Agreed. Anyone is an improvement when you’ve got none. I dream of us getting a proper nasty, bully boy prop ....... same dream for many years now!

The problem would be that one of how to Finance a Loan deal or even a Duel Reg deal for a prop.   Even Loans and DR players have to be paid by our club.

I think sheens and finney have said we still have a bit of money available for some more signings.

Very hard to get people in currently as clubs are still trying to work out how the reserves will work.  There's no surplus of players sat around with nothing to do as previous, and the clubs haven't been able to recruit too many players to play in the reserve league.  Sami Kabula would be decent cover from Warrington as he's played in this league for Swinton and he's not getting in the Warrington team, but they bought him for the reserves so why would they send him here.
