Promotion and relegation back on the cards

I see the RL media are reporting that promotion and relegation could be back on the agenda now.

Good news, and probably the first time in a long time that the Championship has been a level playing field (no Toronto, Leigh, Wakefield, Toulouse dominating)

fancy us to have a good crack at it next season. Bradford probably the team to beat but not sure their 00's approach of Brian Noble will work out.

Good news if true but if you are not 12 highest IMG score no promotion. To be honest besides Bradford, Doncaster, Toulouse, Oldham  & York will also be tough opposition.

Agreed!  The pressure will be on, as AC acknowledges. Every week will be a 'must win' game and will test players and the club to achieve.

Well if you have to be in the top 12 rated clubs, we would struggle there- probably only London and Toulouse could do that

At the moment Coleman actually said we are not quite ready for Super League which is true, because no point going in Super league and lose every game. I feel getting a few youngsters and the foundation is the build up for an academy team, then eventually seeing good youngsters playing for Widnes. Being consistent in top 4 or Grand Finals every year should be our goal for the next few years, then fingers crossed more fans and sponsors arrive. Hopefully a Widnes fan wins the Euros lottery and our sugar daddy is here. 🤣 👍
