Just a thought really…
Should the club be actively promoting Pride Month on their social media platforms? Surely this is something we as fans could also get behind, in support of the LGBTQ+ community.
Perhaps members of the LGBTQ+ community may feel discouraged from attending Rugby League games as we have not been as vocal in our support for Pride events.
I know RL promote Rainbow Laces, which is a fantastic and innovative campaign throughout multi-sports platforms.
If anyone from the club are reading, perhaps the York game this Sunday and the London game could be two chances to promote to an untouched RL demographic.
We could put in entertainment in form of a singer at half time, face painting and maybe drag-cheerleaders (maybe short notice I know).
Are you volunteering for cheerleading
I'm sure the Club will be doing something to recognise Pride Month, Winny. Let's hope it spreads to the players on the pitch, it was not very evident at Barrow, last weekend.

The only reason members of the LGBTQ community feel discouraged from attending games is the performance on the pitch nothing else.
The thing that always gets me is that we have a ‘diversity day’ or a ‘pride month’ and stuff. Wouldn’t if just be much better if we just accepted people for what they are ? To me there is a patronising undercurrent of ‘Don’t worry about the gay / colour / religion etc, etc, we’ll still let you talk to us’.
I also find it ironic on diversity days that we all celebrate that we are diverse ……
The only thing i object to is a warrington wolves day
The only thing i object to is a warrington wolves day
That 'day' will never happen.

Maybe we should let them have a ‘day’? They’ll never have a year! 🤣
