We should be able to match or offer a better salary than most clubs in our division, apart from Toulouse London and Leigh, (if Beaumont doesn’t leave again!) And we have a very good stadium and facilities, and a top coach.

Top 3 I reckon, if they gel and low injuries

not an over stretching start so hopefully a few wins and confidence grows

Without a couple of players being added to the squad then at present I'd say we rank behind Toulouse London Leigh Fev and Halifax possibly York also.

We need a centre and 3 forwards with size aggression and experience.

Dual Registration with Wire and then top 4. At the moment I would say 6th.

To me, we have a better spine but worse front row than last season: Tomkins and Smith are, IMO, better than JJ and Gilmore.

If only there had been the means to retain Harrison Hansen.....not having a go at the club btw!!

If the likes of Cross and Baker end up being Gavin Dodd/Lee Doran type signings from lower clubs, then we will be laughing.....if not then we won't finish Top 5.

Would people feel as confident with this squad but Purtill in charge?

For me, no.

Tim Sheens has more RL coaching knowledge and skills in his little finger than Betts/Cummins/Purthill combined.

I think we need to make the playoffs forget about the cup competitions and then it’s knock out rugby so anyone’s game

I hope the whole squad want promotion as I remember the final against cas at Leeds and it looked like half the team had one foot out the door 🚪

Agree with wholeheartedly but that didn't stop injuries causing KR to be scrambling around the bottom 4 which cost him his job ultimately. Just saying, we've already lost one prop for the first quarter of the season before a ball's been kicked in anger. Let's hope DR/loans ride to the rescue.

Providing we get a could of props and a decent duel reg partner I’d be confident of making the 5, if we went into that with a strong side and make a couple of signings as the season goes on with our following and our coach I can’t see many wanting to play us in the play offs home or away.

Agreed. Think our backs will be a revelation this year.
