No doubts on my mind about us winning by 30 + points
BUT .... as it’s our first competitive game against a side containing some very experienced players all trying to be giant killers, I’m concerned about further injuries.
Should win convincingly even allowing for a degree of rustiness. I’ll go 58-16.
Chase and Henson their only players with recognisable skill. Should be a whitewash imo even with a year off

Not sure wether we should be so confident. We played North Wales in a friendly the other year and struggled for 60 minutes.
No rugby for 12 months, this is a pre season game which will be full of mistakes and a general lack of sharpness. Most friendlies we struggle.
I am expecting maybe a late flurry of tries but a tight match for a large proportion.
All those points are valid but we are playing a team that has won one game in the bottom tier in the last two seasons (I think). I don’t think they will have the quality in defence to keep the game tight.
I've said before that you should never assume a win.
Get out there as if its Wire and give it all you've got! Spectators and players alike need a blast to get some momentum for the season. Henson will have a boot, that's for sure and Chase is always a bag of tricks. Either could be dangerous because they won't want to look stupid in front of the cameras.
If it comes easy its a chance for our youngsters to get some time in and see how they go in the first team.
I hope for a fast open game and plenty of tries for us!!!
It should be a comfortable win, but they will be looking to cause an upset and generate further interest in Welsh RL.
Depending on how much Henson and Chase can deliver on the day, I would see a 36-14 win, with late tries making a respectable score.
