Relegating 3 from the top flight is totallty mental as is the two leagues of 10 consistently playing each other like in some groundhog day hell.

When you consider that the SL 1 will probably have just eight British clubs! Now that is expansion!!!!!! It should boost home game attendances.

Unfortunately there are some almighty narcissistic lunatics running our sport and a 10 team super league is a total dereliction of responsibility to the the wider game.
The greatest achievers this year besides st helens have been Barrow, North Wales Crusaders, Workington and Newcastle maintaining their place in the championship.
I watched the workington V Doncaster game on you tube with 3000 passionate fans there at that historical old stage, Derwent Park. It was electric
How dare the power brokers decide unilaterally that these games are not of value.
Because SL is about money to prop up the game and not sport anymore- sad but true.
If the game is genuinely serious about expansion then they should forget pie in the sky fantasies in Canada and concentrate on the likes of North Wales.A neat little ground in a place not too far from the so called traditional areas and with sizeable populations nearby in Chester and Wrexham.Without neglecting the others, of course.The clubs seen as the game's weaknesses such as Workington, Doncaster, Rochdale etc are actually one of its strengths.It's right under our nose.
If, as is likely, we manage to get two French teams in SL 1 then SL2 will become UK RL!
With the number of Championship teams, like Fev , Newcastle, Leigh and us tooling up it should be highly competitive and good to watch.
The Bash at Blackpool should create a great atmosphere with ourselves, Leigh, Bradford, Halifax, Featherstone and three Cumbrian clubs all in attendance.
