First one for this season available I recommend it, always a good listen. Thanks James & Mike
Where can I find it?
I’ve just listened to it on Spotify but I presume it’s available on Apple and other platforms. I like it a lot - the lads on it know their stuff. Always good to hear what Coleman is thinking first hand.
James or Mike if you see this maybe a good topic of discussion on your podcast. What’s your opinion on Coleman this season do you think he still has what it takes to get us to where we need to be? In my personal opinion a lot of his post match interviews are the same and he almost seems out of ideas? I know money is probably a problem on recruitment side of things but do you see him staying his 2 year extension?

Good question I also think they need to ask the fans questions again like they have done before on a Podcast? Great listen but this I feel be an idea because fans are frustrated now and Coleman was moaning about the fans after the Oldham game. Personally the club need to engage more.
Good listen again. Like most Podcasts, the listener always want it to go on a bit further. But there is only so much mileage in WV RL chat. Adding a Q&A section will enhance the content, and length of the listen.

We will look to include that this week. Also we will look to revert back to a section for supporters questions too at least once every couple of weeks. We are looking to record Wednesday or Thursday. Appreciate your feedback.
They have been very good Mike your Podcasts, but i understand you can over kill on fans questions too. Probably do it once every 2 or 3 weeks because this gives some engagement with the fans. I also enjoyed the interviews with the board members even though they did not enlighten us too much. There must be some big business people and companies who could join the board like Easy Jet and Jaguar Land Rover for example. We can only ask even if a small share holding in the Vikings. I also think advertising with Chemic the Viking at Tesco in the morning, especially before a match that kicks off Sunday afternoon. Posters when games are on in the Town centre in various shops. Just ideas as we need to increase our attendances rather than lose fans.
The main focus for advertising games etc is on social media. The problem with that is the people who don’t follow widnes Vikings on social media platforms may not see it. A couple of posters plus ticket giveaways at some of the big stores in widnes/runcorn can go a long way to enticing people back or new people to attend games. Maybe the club could invite top businesses in for a free upgrade to an executive box if they sell 10 tickets if we don’t have them all sold out which I have been told they are regularly available on match days

Great idea we need solutions to bolster our attendances. There will be loads of new people in the Town over the last 10 years and have probably not joined Widnes Vikings on Social media. So only way is to advertise and engage with people in the Town. Not everyone checks social media and how many times here people say I didn't know a game was on. So going to Tesco and main shopping areas in Town will at last engage us more.
How many semi-interested 'fans' have wandered through the Market looking to buy Match Tickets?
Yeah, that's correct, the Club still has two massive 'canvasses' outside, at each end, saying tickets available inside, or words to that effect.

As some have mentioned have kemik out around the town centre on Saturday and Sunday waving flag, getting pictures with kids etc. widnes aren’t the big club they once were

They don't even advertise when the next game is at the actual ground, let alone anywhere else...
