Who is responsible for getting the players fit and maintaining it over the season.  We have fallen away in the second half in most of the last few games.  If we carry on like this we will be in a relegation battle once more.

A lot of teams seem more powerful than us. York and Bradford being 2 examples. That wears you down over the course of the game. Can we not look at putting them on personal weights programs outside of training. I know they give up a lot of time already.

Maizen looked shattered, understandably so. Anyone know when he last played?

To be fair Maizen probably Jet lagged and not played for awhile. Strength and conditioning is very important and it does seem teams are just more powerful than us. A strike centre, running 6 and strong back rower we be a different animal in the league.

@dan1 I was told it’s 7 months since Maizen last played a game, so it’s not surprising he looked tired in the last 20 minutes
It’s  a pity Roberts wasn’t on the bench, he could have come on for Maizen and Owens could have moved to full back.

Personally I’d have gone with Roberts over gregson.

I would guess that AC is looking towards our home matches with a newly sorted squad (Hall is another gritty forward that we miss plus Patton) to hit some form before its curtains!!!

JJ will be understandingly still looking for fitness too.

The 'Big' teams that are over powering us, are virtually full-time. The spend of these clubs leads to better salaries and more time for their players to be 'Athletes' and not to do a days graft before training on Tues/Thurs nights.

More investment = better players = better results.

WANTED - A copy of Vin K's training manual to be issued to every player so they know what is being asked and expected of them.

His players worked fulltime as well and trained at night.

Bang on we need more investment and sponsorship on board. Coleman did say 6 or 7 teams spending much more than us and if your full time you are fitter, stronger and can plan moves and watch videos of how to improve etc. More money better players so very simple really. No Arab or rich dude available it seems 🤣👍
