Heard ex-player from the late 70's early 80's Paul 'Finna' Finnigan, died suddenly this morning. Paul would have been 66 this coming summer IIRC. He was a top bloke, and a great mate of mine. Condolences to Paul's family at this sad time.

Sad news, played against him 55 years ago when he was playing for St Michael’s and I was playing for the Bede’s Deepest sympathies to family and friends.
Rest in peace.
Paul's funeral took place today at St Bedes & the Crem.
In attendance were Tim Holmes on behalf of the Club, and ex-plyers, Paul & David Hulme, Barry Dowd, Darren Wright, Vinny Houghton and Keith Newton (and possibly more that I never saw, as the Church and Crem were packed). I also noticed ex-assistant coach, Paul Woodward.
