Yes, only we are now in desperate need of second rowers as well as props. Hope we have some very good forwards lined up otherwise it could be a long season for us next year.
Craven, Lawton, Grady, Davies, Farnworth, Holroyd, Millar, Brown and Hatton all leaving
Was this announced officially at the dinner, or from other sources?
Officially at the dinner I believe and announced by the club via Twitter also.

OK, thanks.
Too much trouble for the Club to put it on it's own website for everyone to read...
If all is true ..and it is if ..it'll go something like this up to now
Holroyd out------butt in
Craven out -----gregson in
Grady out ----lyodd in
Farnworth out ----brooks in
Hatton out -----reilly in
Leaves minimum 4 more incomings if run with same size squad ....dudson and Abel two others rumoured .....bit underwhelming
Amor got a mention as one of the leaving players. 🙄
Yeah,I saw that."I didn't really enjoy it at Widnes to be honest".
Well I admit I wasn't too bothered about the players rumoured to be leaving but now it is confirmed and looking at what remains I'm beginning to have second thoughts.
I know it’s always worrying when 9+ players leave but the majority of the players leaving have been here since relegation and we’ve never ever achieved anything a lot of blame has to be on the club for the way it’s ran but out there on the pitch them players clearly aren’t good enough. Hopefully are luck changes and it’s top 6 next year 🫣🫣
Ridiculous to include Amor given he left halfway through the season. Might as well have extended it to Josh Johnson and Will Evans.
Much of our optimism revolves around the idea that these were 'our lads' but that didn't quite cut the mustard in practice. Maybe different coaches would have demanded more but who knows?
What is annoying is that so often we looked 'good' but it wasn't every week, and that is enough to sink down the ratings.
We still need a bigger and better pack presence and that has been so for years not just this season. Hopefully Coleman can get a mix that works well. He certainly seemed to be able to motivate Swinton at times, but it is the dependability throughout that tells the tale at season's end.
Was there no mention of a fan’s evenings last night? Someone mentioned on here a week or two ago, that he had been talking to one of our directors, and they were going to have a fans evening soon.
Who is the 'Gregson' - if its the Swinton lad he is listed as a second row but at 14 stone 11pds looks a bit light in weight!
A fan's evening to meet the new players would be a good booster for the ST sales and might give Coleman a chance to meet the fans properly.
He may not be a practised 'press statement' coach saying all the right things but that could be a good change!
All in all it looks like a season generally where a few 'SL experienced' players have dropped down a peg rather than fight to go up. You never know some of the non-SL players might respond to a bigger crowd?
