Which stand would be for away fans at Oldham?

From the clubs Twitter:

Supporters purchasing away tickets are asked to select the Lord Tom Pendry Stand or standing in the Smurffitt Kappa Stand.

Good source of information, the club itself.

If he repeats his 42 tackles he's OK.

Got tickets for me and some friends in the Tom Petty stand, 1 seat gap between each seat.
Let’s hope We Don’t Back Down 🙄

Is it just me our is it a bit to risky to allow away fans into home venues. Am not been funny or wet but covid is far from gone and with this Indian version floating about a mean is it to quick to open the gates to soon. It just seems to quick for me even with social distances.

Outdoors, distanced. Not stood in face to face contact with home fans. Safer than a supermarket or a pub. Or travelling on public transport for that matter. Nothing is zero risk but compared to playing premier league football matches in front of full crowds or allowing the Cheltenham Festival with packed stands when nobody had been vaccinated it’s fairly safe.

News makes for pretty grim reading with this Indian variant seemingly now rising quickly. I don’t think I can cope with another lockdown. Fingers crossed the vaccine is doing its thing and there’s not gonna be too many in hospital and seriously poorly.

There’s no justification for another lockdown. The lockdowns were to prevent the NHS being overloaded and to protect the most vulnerable. It’s not good to see cases increasing but all the data suggests the vaccines have had/are having a positive effect.

Let’s hope so.

I was talking to my Mum earlier, two colleagues of hers have tested positive despite having had both jabs, but neither are particularly ill.

No worse than meeting up in the pub. As long as social distancing in place it’s good

Can't say that the sight of fans on TV at Wire and Saints, blatantly un- masked and un-spaced fills me with a desire to join them.

Their obvious lack of respect for the safety of themselves or others doesn't do our game much credit. There would be a howl of protest if the authorities immediately banned fans from their grounds until all restrictions were withdrawn!
