Next Four Games - need to get some momentum

London (H)

Workington (A)

Dewsbury (H)

Newcastle (H)

This is clearly an opportunity for us to regain the winning habit and develop a winning mentality before some tougher fixtures following after them. Club shouldn’t be satisfied with anything less than 4 wins out of 4.

Totally agree, but depends on whether we get the team performance against York or the performance against Batley!

All four games are winnable and probably must wins if the drift away by fans is to be halted.

In my opinion, I believe that we will win all four games - but may have to review after the London game!!

London will be up for it after their win - but I honestly expect 4 out of 4

the sweetest being Newcastle

Being 9 points behind Barrow I don't think it matters now. Get the new coach in, most players are on 12 month contracts so bring in 10 - 15 fresh faces and start again next season..... again like the 11 we brought in this year, only better!

@dan1 It probably doesn’t matter as far as a play-off position is concerned, but you can always live in hope.

It really does matter that we start winning again and have a decent end to the season, if only to encourage fans to stick with the club and come back next year!

As far as getting rid of all or most on 12 month contracts and bring in 10-15 new players, good luck with that one. Who would you keep and who would you realistically like to bring in?

Need to win as much as possible to solidify crowds this year, 2420 the other day....can't be many non season ticket holders going.

Damage limitation now and mid table 'respectability'.The season is another write off,no hope of a top 6 finish. As much chance of a one legged cat burying its poo on a frozen pond.

Don’t think anyone is suggesting the play offs are viable. Just want to see a positive improvement under Kear and a decent number of wins before the end of the season.

@frankg I would see probably 8-10 players leave at seasons end

Not sure how many will leave, but we have to replace, and it’s all about player availability - we need to be in there now

Well, we have won 3 in a row. Newcastle haven't really impressed me this season but they are still a step up on the three teams we have just beaten and are coming off a big win over the Bulls. Given we are 7/7 against the bottom four and 1/11 against the rest of the league I'd certanly take a win as notice that things are going in the right direction. Won't be easy though.

Strangely big win for Newcastle, but the bulls are nowhere near top 4 - we should have beaten them

expect a hard game with a win for us

seems like the playoff places are sewn up now, will take a collapse fro a team to allow anyone else in, batley really flying high.

This season was a write off before we played the first game of the season as look at Leigh and Featherstones spending

the rest of the teams can’t compete with them

I am hearing whispers of a 12 & 12 of 2 divisions after next year so only a couple of clubs will lose out, still thinking there’ll be a massive difference between super league and Championship funding though

also will revert back to the no promotion/relegation system where you’d have to apply for a 3-5 season seat at the top table….brown envelopes galore

Next we go to Batley as underdogs. Not stuck in 1989 but that is depressing.
