Thanks for all your concerns, I've had a throat tumour, some lymph nodes and my voice box removed last Thursday. It's been a whirlwind 5 weeks since diagnosis, and can only thank my surgeon Mr.Wilkie and his fanastic team at Aintree Hospital, who literally grabbed the problem 'by the throat' and have saved my life. I'm typing from my Hospital bed, and if you only ever take one piece of any post I make, it's don't put things off. If you get a sore throat, and it is still thereafter 3 weeks, get yourself checked, don't take no for an answer off the Receptionist, insist on seeing your GP for a referral. If it's bad, but early, it can be sorted with some radiotherapy/chemo. because this is bloody horrendous.
Anyway, get behind the Lads on Friday, I'll be listening in, hoping Flash is sounding a happy man on comms.
