Merchandise

Just went onto the online store to purchase merchandise for friends and family over here in the states. It said address not valid as widnes doesn’t post merchandise to the states anymore? Some of the merchandise didn’t have photos of the product? I am not trying to complain about it but bringing it up in this forum often leads to a solution. Hoping for this to be resolved

I'm sure this can be resolved. I'll investigate for you.

Was in the shop yesterday, and there is loads of stock in all sizes, so no excuses for anyone moaning about not being able to buy anything.

Go and see Donna for some retail therapy.

Paulie xx

Do you not have family or friends over here who could buy and send to you.

A lot of organisations stopped shipping to the US after Trump indroduced the tariffs and removed the de minimis threshold on imports. Things are more expensive and more time consuming to do it. Can't say if that's the reason or not. Hope you get it sorted.

Just paid Donna a visit re; shipping abroad. She thinks we do but she couldn't check as postage is only calculated when you put in your address and zip code, and she didn't have an american address to try it. She presumes you got that far and it rejected the postage??? If you have any problems, you can e-mail her or even phone for help. She said she'll check with Stu Murphy that we do ship abroad and get back to me asap.

Meanwhile here are some pics from the shop...

Trump probably had us in mind, not China, when he came up with these tariffs. Swine.

@Mckviking Stu Murphy was back from his holiday, today, and was in the midst of sorting the postage abroad problem as I left. It may have been caused by the change in the system in the Shop. I suggest you persevere.

@pauliewalnuts do you know what the outcome of this was? The sites still not configured to offer postage abroad, I'm wondering is this intentional.

I was assured that postings abroad were not a problem, but you will need to contact the Club for postage prices. It really is easier to ring them from the South Pole than to get an e-mail response. I will ask the question again tomorrow night.

On general merchandise, I do feel the leisure range has gone downhill since we've gone with debau, not much choice, and all a bit samey....  Are we with them long term?   I sort of liked the blackout range, however launching all black in the middle of heatwave is a bit of a misfire to me, how about a whiteout one? 🙂

The Black Out kit was signed off with the idea to turn off the Floodlights so as not to be able to see the players. Apart from the fact it was daylight 'til 10.30, and for me it is too similar to the away shirt/kit apparently the Club seem happy with sales, which at the minute are just under £5k.

Apparently, I had mis-read the article, and there is no Black Out kit, just a leisure range of Tees, Polos, & hoodies. There was to be a BO game (Donny or Oldham) to launch the leisure range.

Paulie MY BAD! xx
