Got to be honest, I’m not sure where the increased investment in the squad has gone.
We’ve brought in 3 players who I would say are dropping down- Johnstone, Gilmore and Amor.
We’ve lost 2 players in Smith and Tyrer who I presume were amongst our top earners.
The rest of the recruits are players I thought we could always attract, regardless of an increased budget.

Maybe everyone's had a cost-of-living rise. That'd put 10%+ on the wage bill.

I think Chris Price said that despite the rumours there was no one coming onto the board with extra money, but if anyone did want to come on board with money and we’re serious they would be welcome
