Sounds like a possible - he'll be 37 next January, but still puts a shift in.
With Farnworth etc, starting to look like a pretty uncompromising pack, Baker to loose forward at last?

I'm with you about Baker. sandgroper.
Hope we get him. Always admired the way he plays ⚪️🏁⚫️
Where did you hear this
Not a bad option for him to go to PT at his age and his experience will only be a boost for our pack (even if it was a subs role)?
He would be a good addition as seen him play a few times this year. Puts a shift in and strengthens our squad. 🥖🥖🥖❤️
If all the pack rumours come good our half backs will think its Heaven!!!
As with all such things its about achieving the right balance in the squad and for us not to commit a disproportionate amount of our budget to players at the back end of their careers, no matter how enthusiastic they are. LMS I suspect has been more active for Saints than Amor has for Warrington. They could really give us that leadership or they could fade. Great if it works, not so great if it consumes so much cash we cant strengthen elsewhere! I defer to Mr Kear in putting a squad together (assuming he is allowed!).
Signing mid 30s forwards and former failed half backs isn't really the future.I hear Jarrod Sammut is available, why not go for him as well.
I have had the pleasure of watching Fui Fui Moi Moi Still putting it about at 41 over the past 2 years. I think Widnes could accommodate LMS
Sage words Sinbad and there is always that risk. But having been turned over many times in this division by 'past it' forward packs some solid, if unspectacular grunt would be appreciated. Plainly not signed for long term but one season at a time is the name of the game to re-establish us as a club not to be ignored. You can't ignore that the 'failed' half back is recognised outside our club as a potential player of the year.
Let's face it Liam Bent was rejected by many until JK pointed out the level of his input!!!
Young upwardly mobile forwards can get injured or poached and we need stability atm. I would trust to JK's judgement in this area at least. I have said much the same as you regarding Amor, and LMS might be more of the same of course.
On a similar tack Harrison Hansen left us as a worn out hack but seems to have survived!!
Its a funny old world RL!!!
Think one thing that's being lost here is the fact likes of amor and LMS are in full time training environments and tbh are fit as butcher's dogs and would probably put most younger championship forwards to shame .both bring bucket loads of experience and particularly in lms case alot of aggression..as far as gilmore goes some people are blinkered by his previous spell and can't get there heads around the fact he's been in of the standout 7s in the comp for nearly 3 seasons ...all ifs n buts till anythings confirmed
Good signing if turns out to be true. I think attitude is more important than age. LMS and Amor have proven track records. We also have a good few younger forwards coming on nicely to give that balance. I think Doro has done a good job, would be great if we could get him.
Looks like hes looking to play one more year for Saints or retire according to reports
