Another good podcast!

Maybe on the next few you could get some company’s in to sponsor the podcast episode and have some local brand placement? Could earn a bit of money for the club or help cover some of the expenses the podcast may have?

@member151

The podcast is open for sponsorship, as is the 'Widnes Chat' that Mike and James put together. Just contact Mike, or Sherlock if anyone is interested, to discuss terms.

It won't be dear, unless somebody/firm wants to lob a million pounds at it.

Paulie xx

Fair play to Tim Holmes the club are in very good hands and deserve the support. Hopefully with better results on the pitch the numbers stay good going to the games.

Moving forward, if the same seating arrangements are in place at home games, the North Stand bottle/can bar (by the toilets) of yesteryear needs to be re-opened. Surely this is of next to no extra cost, but alleviates some of the issues with getting served pre game / half time.

I've brought this to the attention of Tim, earlier. He's on it, whether the Council will increase the staffing of concourse bars, is another thing.

Mike any ways to make a push on the WVIPs? This is a great way to build the best squad possible and for the clubs finances. Flyers at the games to be given out with text explaining what can be achieved with recruitment. £5 a month is not hardly breaking the bank for people.

@begg We have discussed the possibility of having Flexi ticket sign up and VIPS sign up stall for Saturday in the Bridge Suite, however this will depend on availability of volunteers.

Good idea but the majority of the fans are in the North Stand and not everyone goes into the Bridge Suite. The reason I mentioned flyers handed out to people in the North Stand. Just an idea and I also understand need volunteers and logistics but at least a thought mate. I believe we have 246 members and if we can achieve 300 people signed up this will make a massive difference for our players budget and to retain or add stronger players. I praise the work by the team at the club already, and I would rather be in our position sustainable than being a featherstone, Salford and possibly Oldham on the articles online. Well done on your Podcasts very informative and Tim is a breath of fresh air.
