- Regarding the kick offs, it wasn't a matter of player's not wanting to catch them. They were driving the ball low and hard with the wind behind them. We possibly should have done a little better but catching them wasn't an option.
Good result, misted first half due to getting lost in valencia
Forbes going well it seems, Grady please ensure he is signed for next 2 seasons
not bad crowd there either
@ditton-donkey
From Merseyside sounded like we were a sixth of their attendance!
Maybe their last couple of tries were indicative of us tiring having played on Monday...
All in all a solid performance, only the 3rd away win of the season so very pleasing to back up from Bradford.
Pity we aren't playing next weekend now!
Having played on Monday didn't stop Bradford rattling up 44 points. I think Widnes were a bit disjointed all round and lucky to be playing a team having a crisis of its own. That said only Edge had a stinker and they did always seem to have a game plan even if the execution was often feeble. Forber had an extended spell and seems good at keeping us on the front foot. JJ not missed at all. In fact not having JJ and Brown seems to be working as an advantage.
You're giving Bradford credit for scoring 44 today when we beat them last Monday and won again today?
What exactly do you want us to do?
Everyone was crying relegation last week and now the play-offs isn't beyond the realms of fantasy.
I know we're a depressing bunch by nature but FFS.
You have to say though, there's less posts on here when we win. Where's the usual doom merchants?

I said after the Whitehaven game that we needed to go back to having a loose forward who plays like a prop rather than loose forwards who play like half backs. It's how we started the season but, Kear for some reason changed it and persisted with the half back loose forward when it was killing us. Gilly's the clued up half and should have had his hands on the ball more than anyone, not the loose forward. We're now playing with effectively 6 props with 3 starting and 3 on the bench (I know we have second rows playing prop but, you know what I mean). Playing with only 4 allowed other teams to dominate us.

Somebody had said that maybe we tailed off at Keighley because we were tired after Monday's game. The point I was making was that Bradford didn't seem tired so that wasn't a good excuse for the tailing off. What I want us to do? Well stop making stupid handling errors would be a good start. Train a bit for handling kick offs. Centres stop shooting out of the line in defence.
You could argue that Bradford didn't work hard enough last week!
I was surprised how many Widnes fans were there, I would say at least a 1/3 of the fans were from Widnes, about 400-450. But they had someone with a loud drum, that drowned them out a bit!
