I have said this all along and even if haven't got much money £5 a month minimum is better than nothing. If 10 people on this it £50 a month or £600 per year. Doesn't sound much but it could be that little extra to get a signing over the line. The other option is buying a few Children Season ticket passes to go the schools at £26 each. If say bought 2 it potentially brings parents too, who then pay full price. I know trying extra funds like quiz nights etc but we need to do things all together. We need a strong 26 or 27 players of our own, so not over reliant on loans.
@pascal I think the old scheme had about 1100 people in if we could get this one to 500 it would make a huge difference!! Better players = more wins = bigger attendance and it keeps turning we needs to push the vips and help the fundraising to keep the momentum that Coleman and the players have started !!
Can't complain about not having another club's player because we don't have enough of our own.Probably won't see him again.
At the end if the day it’s the loan and DR system that suits the main team so not much Widnes can do, but for so much that the club does well this year on the field and even off it, things like this are embarrassing when they announce these loans only for a day later or same day to be undermined by the other team

Yeah I think it has also happened to Bradford and other teams too. At the beginning of the season Alan Coleman did not use the dual and loan much because used his own players. I understand why now and hopefully next season get our own squad of 26/27 players with most durable types. No offence to Langtree and Gregson but we can't afford too many on the injury table. The loan system needs reviewing and reason I do not like it is because of this mate. Unfortunately we have to get on with the Super league clubs because they would take Green, Zac Bardsley Rowe and Bailey away too.
Ratboys friend is a Leigh fan and they did an interview with Brand at Leigh, and he said loved his time at Widnes. So we are doing something correctly and Coleman seems highly respected too.
