According to Love Rugby League we could be signing Jumah Sambou this week on loan could be a great addition for out outside backs

The club have not confirmed it yet but both Love RL & RL now say , it is likely to happen as a done deal as "a temporary loan". What does that mean, a week , 2 weeks, a month, 3 months or just until HKR feel like?
I would assume Edge will keep his place so is Jack, club skipper or Fleming at risk? Someone won't be happy!
From a squad point of view however this is very good news. He covers wing or centre just what we need but could cause discontent if only for a brief period. On balance a good move by the club.
Or what about Sambou and Jack in the centres Edge at fullback and Connell sat in the stands until he gets fed up and leaves the club!
I’d say he could be used on the wing, ince looks like he might be more of a squad player these days with his knee constantly strapped up
@mckviking And lacks pace for a winger. That said, he does bring the ball out well in the first 3 plays of the set.

With Connell at FB?
It's a waste to put him on wing he's an attacking centre something we have missed for a long time !!! Only we could get someone like that and put him on wing 😂😂
time for Coleman to be brave Connell at fullback sambou in centre drop gregson play jack at loose forward he's played stand off he's creative and he's still a leader plus it gets rid of gregson
McQuirter should be loose foward spelling with Johnstone when Foz comes on at hooker.
It will be interesting as Owens is captain, but our best 2 centres are Edge and Sambou. Connell deserves a run at full back after Sunday. I can also see Sargent breaking into the side on the wing when fit.
@dan1 I agree but it's Coleman it's never going to happen!! He doesn't like upsetting his faves jacks his captain so will be put somewhere so he either drops ince and puts edge on wing or drops Lyons and puts jack there this week
He has to play centre, we've been crying out for a centre like this for ages. Connell at FB, Sargent on the wing, Sambou at centre. Fit the others around those.
Well done to everyone at the club for gettingvthis season long deal over the line. If Jumah, Connell & Abdull can keep reasonably injury free I can see this squad now finishing 4th to 6th in the table.
This signing certainly puts a question mark over Jack Owens starting, though he would make a great bench player as he could be a versatile interchange for almost any back position.
If Owens comes out as FB instead of Connell on Sunday, I’ll be fewmin!
