Oldham fans seem to rate him and a realistic signing at this level. Kirk and Rambo was not reliable leaving through the season. Let's give him a chance and he may not be first choice. Plus need big forwards who live close. 

Lacked some big props so if doing well at Oldham we can not complain for this level. Pascal mentioned that Kirk and Rambo decided to leave because of the distance and lets give the lad a chance before slating. Yeah I was not a fan when saw him at Widnes 5 years ago, but must have matured as a player.

He’s not nasty enough to succeed at the very top off the game but his size always causes problems and he’s a Widnes fan which always helps. 

A fellow supporter commented to me that we always seem to play better against better quality sides and looking at some of our losses it looks quite likely to be true. 

We do try to play a classy game rather than adopting 'pub football' tactics with our leading players retaining something from our SL past maybe?

I am quite happy with this signing. I felt he got some over the top criticism during his last spell here. He will have developed since last here & certainly offers as much as at least one of our current props. He is a big unit & to date has lost little time to injury. A good squad prop signing at this level.
