Is that a double signing then?

I think his brother is staying at Oldham.

I always preferred jay to be honest. Think he took a lot of underserved crap in my opinion, made plenty of line breaks, never seemed to miss too many tackles

but people just criticised he wouldn’t fight with people 🙃

Beggars can’t be choosers, but a signing that doesn’t excite me.

A decent prop at championship level and he’ll play for the jersey but not a super league level player

@mckviking but we're not signing for super league yet ? So all contracts I presume would be renegotiated if we got super league I'm not sure how many we'd keep if we got the nod

I think Bibby has played well since coming, I think I would prefer to sign him rather than Chapelhow

Not for me. It’s like Widnes 2022 revisited. Who next? Craven?

Murray, Bibby, Farnworth and J Chapelhow would be good for next season at prop. Bent as back row cover. We have some good options at loose forward, but its got to be Lewis Hall for me.

Anyone watched him recently because it was a few years ago at Widnes. Has played regularly for Oldham and done a decent job.

@pascal

plus coaching! Look at Lawton's play now compared with before, alongside Condon. Condon's comment was that AC wanted 'involvement' and that is what we now have!

Big forwards who are static don't challenge defences other than as 'batterers'. When Lawton, Condon, etc move around they are a threat to defences and have to be covered, leaving space for others to attack.
