Will even season ticket holders want to go and watch this shambles when the gates open? I just hope that we can give the Lions a game next week.

Yes. I am looking forward to going to a match. Hopefully the York match is switched to allow us to go on Monday May 17th. I don’t understand why this hasn’t been arranged and announced already. If Widnes don’t play on May 17th I will be looking for another match to g0 and watch.

I'm not sure if York were asked (some teams have refused to switch the fixture), but from what I'm told, the council didn't think there was enough time for them to get the required things in place for it to happen on the Monday evening.

I’ve emailed the club twice over the last 2 months asking them if they could move the game to the Monday, without a reply. Pity someone couldn’t find the time over the last 2months to tell me what you’ve found out James.

If it is the Council it is a really poor show on their part. The Lockdown Lifting Timetable was announced in February. 3 months to get 4000 people (or less if they insist) safely into and outdoor 14,000 seat stadium and it's too difficult. Every Super League Club and 2 Championship Clubs have been able to manage it.

The Club should at least confirm when the match will take place.

Given it's in the fixture list, surely the club would only confirm something if it changes. So as there are no changes, there's nothing to confirm?

You're right of course.

But if it's definitely on the Sunday. I'll look to get a ticket for a match somewhere on the Monday night. It's Rugby League so you're always nervous something will change.

The club is dead. Paulie xx

There is definitely something amiss if a board member is tweeting there's trouble at mill

I wonder what's going on? The whole club have gone very quiet, especially as we are due to welcome fans back in 13 days. Does anyone have any idea what the issue/issues are?

He's quoting Martyn Sadler in League Express who asks the question ''is that defeat a sign that something deeper is wrong at the club ?"

After the quote he says interesting question. So what does that mean? Sounds like a hint.

Well there is definitely a losing culture which is a deeper problem for starters.

Something is definitely amiss. Radio silence from the club after a record defeat.

Just to add some fuel to the fire... anybody else having issues accessing the club's website? 😮
