Hi all
Not posted here for a while as kept opinions to myself regarding club etc.
Although DR may not be a thing the club are interested in, I believe we are in advanced talks for season long loans for 3 Warrington lads who I won’t name but one back and two forwards.
Only possible stumbling block is reaching an agreement as Warrington want a recall clause which we are not happy about.

The recall thing is rubbish unless it is just the back. The problem with the recall is if they get a few injuries we are knackered. Recall for one of the players could be negotiable and if a recall the contract could be offer another player. 😂 DR with Wigan/Saints or Leigh be nice too. People might not realise the pot for players is probably difficult due to 5 Superleague clubs within 20 miles from us. So beggars can not be choosers and a few big forwards required.
Heard we’ve signed Wellington Albert from London for next season
If true, he is bigger than anyone else we have at present and has improved his standard of play since he left us some years ago.
I would guess that the recall clause would be Dudson if their expensive frontline signings get injured.
Makes sense as Cooper was out most of the season and you never know. Personally I think we should go for a strong squad of our own, then add 3 loan and a dual agreement when we are desperate.
Next season we need to at least come in the top 4.
Cooper plays for Wigan so the fact he was out hurt doesn't impact on WarringtonI would guess that the recall clause would be Dudson if their expensive frontline signings get injured.

It was just an example of a top player injured for a club. Then the loan player could be called back. 😂🙈 Not sure which forwards injured for Warrington, but you definitely be hoping the forwards don't get injured if got a few on a season loan with a recall.
If I remember rightly Bradford turned up at Halifax earlier in the season with 4 DR/loan players and someone started a thread saying how wrong it was 😭😭
🤣

I agree it is rubbish, but Bradford have done well with the system. We need to do something as our league position is woeful. Ex Superleague players after a top up like Kyle Amor didn't work out. That arsehole took the money, and also dictated when played and his Benidorm holiday took the piss.
@sandgroper I thought Dudson was leaving Warrington completely as he wants to go part time?
Iirc he wasn't listed in their list of departures and that became a notion that he could be re-signed but loaned out as a back up if needed.
Probably only Dudson really knows!!!
I think he is still under contract for next year but heard they were mutually terminating so he can go Part time as he has something lined up outside of game as well
So, we're around 10 players down from the squad which started last season. The man who is (seemingly) running the club has publicly stated there will be no cuts to the playing budget.
However, according to some, the pool of PT players on this side of the pennines is miniscule and players won't travel from Yorkshire to play PT. Yet on the other hand, the player pool is so small because there are 5 SL clubs within 20 miles of Widnes also they don't want to rely on DR.
Seems like the ex uses are being lined up already.
Don't forget, players get bored at Widnes too.Poor things, fully grown adults suffering the trauma of boredom. The club should've provided Evans with a scalextric to play with in his flat.
