Very enjoyable all round- excellent win and more enjoyable watching the game in the middle of the stand too!

I thought it was an even first half which was overshadowed by the non try which would have made it 8-10 and Halifax scoring to make it 4-14.

No complaints about anything in the 2nd. All players contributed and I thought Langtree made a good impact off the bench. We looked threatening with ball in hand and it was good to see.

@thegrimareaper best way to look at it is gregson went off after 38 mins and we scored 30 points and looked faster in his absence as Roberts speeds up our play where's Gregson slows us down

Yes agree ref gregson but he keeps plugging on, I reckon roberts is a better option but having the 2 interchanging seems to work

same with fozzard and Johnstone - he playing much better this season

@vikingfox71 did he take a knock? Strange tactic to make a substitute 2 minutes before half time

@mckviking I'm not sure he's played a full game yet to be honest not sure we gain anything with him but as was said before Coleman likes to trust and show loyalty

@vikingfox71 he must bring something to the squad, maybe the belief or the encouragement to the lads on the field, I can’t get to the games and now with bbc radio blocking anyone outside of the UK I can’t even listen to it anymore

Halifax admin doesn’t sound too impressed with our win! Blaming it all on luck haha, if it is luck then it’s about time we got some!!

It's a nice feeling actually looking forwards to watching Widnes play rugby. The team could easily have gone onto their shell at HT yesterday, as previous teams had.

But they came out on the front foot and blew them away. Can't wait for the next two games, bring it on.

@cumbria-viking brilliant thank you, it’s obvious that there are cameras at the games so why not a pay per view for people abroad like myself and others who can’t get to the games, I think £20 a game is a decent amount. I for one would subscribe
