Well listening to Coleman everything is rosy as we are on a run of two games undefeated

1. London, next to the bottom and paying five loanees, some of whom hadn't made a first team debut

2. Halifax, who we were leading 16-0 with ten seconds to go in the first half.

Struggled against Hunslet, Doncaster and Sheffield and Toulouse (who both could have defeated us if a ball had been taken)

I keep saying it but we employed a man from a relegated team and then allowed him to sign those said players, "because i can work with him". As Spelly told me earlier in the season we had NINE EX-Swinton players on the field one game and two of their coaches in the stands. I know we don't have a great deal of money but we do have more than sixty percent of the other teams!!!!

Why oh Why are we in this position!!!!!

Well it would have been interesting if Luke Thompson played. We need more investment into the club while other clubs strengthen we give players away without replacing them? The board need to be more proactive and get more investment at least try and knock or send out emails to companies within a 10 miles radius of the Town.

@martin and we could have won today it Lawton didn’t get stopped an inch from the line, beat Oldham if gilly didn’t get charged down, beat batley if we could hold on for 10 mins

Hunslet could have beaten Fev today, London could have beaten Toulouse

what’s your point other than, that’s sport?

this league is competitive where on any given day, any part time team can beat any other part time team. Have we been disappointing in some games? Yes, have we thrown away some games? Yes but so have others.

Now isn’t the time to throw the coach or players under the bus but support and see how the season pans out. People keep saying we should have hired an experienced Championship coach. The only team doing well that has a championship experienced coach is Toulouse

@pascal Here’s an idea Pascal, why don’t we protest outside the stadium next home game and demand we sell the club to a rich backer, sounds like a brilliant idea doesn’t it.

Your a 🤡 all I said the club need to go out and look for investment rather than sit on its arse. Things don't come to you in life if want success at least try and send loads of emails to companies or be pro active and go to the companies face to face. It just seems they want to just survive when everyone else is spending. Even small club Sheffield spending loads. It just a status on the board to be honest and as I say sitting on the fence plodding along doesn't entice fans. The attendances show this you.🤡

@pascal mate there’s no investment in the town let alone the club. Widnes is a dying town as are most small towns without one person who has a bit of money like a Beaumont, a McManus, a Moran etc those clubs would also be on their arse. The sport isn’t viable that’s just how it is

@scouseviking55 I'm not disagreeing about sticking by the team etc but one thing was noticeable in the second half when fax got on top and  Douglas was making yards thru the middle our pack had hall ,bent ,foz ,Gregson we had no size through the middle and fax just bullied us Douglas scored and then we put Murray on ??!?! That substitute should have been made earlier to steady the ship and stop there go forward that does lie with Coleman our game management is hopeless at times

I thought it was a really good game. Obvs disappointed not to get 2 points but the effort was there.

Some good ball-handling, looked like a more concerted effort to spread the ball about.

I don't think fitness is an issue, if anyone was going to win it at the death, it was us.

I can understand why the last kick was given to Owens, he was successful with a similar hooter kick a couple of years back vs Bradford.

It was immediately before and after the HT break that did the damage, we were leading 16-0 after 39 mins, they were leading 18-16 after 47. Apart from that 8 mins, I thought we were much more dangerous. But, hey.

As we've all said for the last 2000 years, we could do with more size and grunt up front. Should have addressed that by now.

@gpo1971  I agree we have let Reilly and Kirk go but not replaced them.

Mcquirter has replaced Lannon and for me is a direct replacement, he's got the build of a back rower not a prop. Lawton has replaced the injured Langtree meaning 2 first choice props are now playing for Sheffield and Midlands. No replacements in a small squad as it is.

No update on the Warrington lad who we announced as a season loan but played for the reserves.  He has something about him with a bit of aggression. With all respect to Bent, he just isn't a front rower. So I can only assume yet again Warrington have let us down, but we haven't said anything??

With all the comings and goings mid season it's honestly hard for even a regular fan to keep track. Can't be the best for organisisation or team spirit?

Last one and we have bigger issues but why are we using last years sponsors board for the post game AC interview.  A small thing along with no names on the shirts of new players, but its just not professional.

Only thing I'm concerned...well in fact baffled ...is the gaffer suggesting that was in anyway a point gained ...we were 16-0 and cruising and threw it away ...that is not a point gained in any shape or form ...let's not beat around the bush either ..yes fax started the season well but came into yesterday on the back of 4 defeats in 5 ...there not a good team ...bizarre outlook thinking that result is a positive....also how is it nearly every single game we concede a try right near the half time hooter ..it's almost guaranteed every week ..

@cumbria-viking Given he’s got hardly any players to choose from, do you expect him to come out in public and criticise them? He’s got to keep the few players he’s got, onside.

Coleman’s got obvious weaknesses and some of his decisions are baffling, but the squad situation is a joke. All the talk of play offs from those involved at the club, but the squad they’ve put together just isn’t good enough.

Yesterday, we had 3 middles on the pitch at the same time- Bent, Bennion and Hall. How many of them would get into other play off chasing teams?

Recruitment is badly needed, as it has been for months

@viking25 I couldn't agree more regarding the recruitment...it's something we're guilty of being diabolical recent seasons ...but I'd say keeping fans onside is as important and sugar coating that yesterday won't help one bit ...no other club in that league would suggest losing a 16pt margin is in anyway positive... ridiculous comment tbh ...on the flip side like you say he's low on numbers and thanks to a few factors he's doing the job with one hand tied behind his back ...

@bladerunner But the conclusions you made about lack of fitness etc etc were based on your statement “The number of games we’ve ended up losing/drawing after being in front at half time suggests”. The fact is we’ve won/drawn more games after being behind at half time. So because you are now aware your statement was based on a false premise you are now trying to move the goalposts with eg the Toulouse result “was early season” and what our win at London has got to do with “The number of games we’ve ended up losing/drawing after being in front at half time” is beyond me.
